Based on our 1200 student station (SS) middle school prototype which is expandable to 1500 SS, this new facility is being designed to deliver a student-centered, 21st century learning environment with innovative approaches to classroom layout, multipurpose spaces, advanced technology, and utility systems. It will offer a progressive education in a healthy, resilient, and sustainable environment as the schools is being designed to achieve 2 Green Globes certification. The project’s scope also includes flexibility to increase/decrease the capacity as required, enhanced security features, parking facilities, a bus loop and a parent drop off queuing system. The new Chaffee Trails Middle School will be located on a Green Field property adjacent to Chaffee Trails Elementary School and is adaptable to varying site conditions, parcel sizes, and city planning limitations.
