A Professional Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Engineering Management degree from Penn State University, Brandon combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to guide complex organizations through growth and transformation.

Throughout his career, Brandon has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, managed complex projects, and built strong client relationships across a wide range of markets. His background in structural and mechanical design, strategic account management, and organizational leadership provides a unique perspective on driving performance while fostering a collaborative, people-focused culture.

As Chief Financial Officer, Dan is responsible for Stratus’ financial operations and helps strengthen the financial foundation that supports continued growth. He brings a strong track record of creating and implementing short- and long-term business plans, deploying financial systems, directing shared services, and supporting merger and acquisition integrations.

As Stratus' Chief Operating Officer, Paul leads the firm’s operational performance, delivery strategy, and execution across complex infrastructure markets. With a strong focus on scalability, efficiency, and integrated service delivery, he ensures consistent, high-quality outcomes across all projects while strengthening collaboration and accountability across teams. His leadership plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, supporting growth, and positioning the firm for long-term success.

Paul brings more than 30 years of experience in public infrastructure, spanning water, transportation, aviation, rail and transit, and program management. He has held senior leadership roles at both privately owned and publicly traded organizations, most recently leading a $500 million revenue business at AtkinsRéalis. At Stratus, he leverages this depth of experience to optimize delivery models, mentor leadership teams, and align operational strategy with the firm’s broader business objectives. Paul is committed to building high-performing teams and delivering impactful, client-focused solutions.

David Mayland

David Mayland

David brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate development, investment, and strategy across mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and data analytics.

As Chief Development Officer, David leads Stratus’ strategic growth initiatives, including M&A and partnerships. His transaction experience includes buy-side and sell-side M&A, joint ventures, distressed lending, and startup investments across sectors including telecom, consumer, industrial, infrastructure, defense, and financial services.

Lexa Nam

Lexa Nam

Lexa Nam is an accomplished accounting executive with over 17 years of progressive experience leading high-performing finance and accounting operations across the public and private sectors. She has deep expertise in technical accounting, GAAP compliance, financial reporting, acquisitions and integrations, ERP implementations, and multi-country regulatory requirements. Lexa is recognized for building and mentoring high-performing teams that consistently achieve strategic and operational objectives.

As Chief Accounting Officer, Lexa leverages her extensive experience to drive operational efficiency, strengthen financial processes, and support Stratus’ growth.

As General Counsel, Jessica is responsible for overseeing Stratus’ legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. She provides guidance on contractual matters, mitigates legal risk, and supports the firm’s operational framework through effective governance and policy oversight. She also plays a key role in advancing safety standards, supporting the development and implementation of programs that promote best practices and organizational compliance.

Jessica holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from James Madison University.

Katie Kain

Katie Kain is a strategic operations leader with nearly two decades of experience driving enterprise-wide transformations, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, and leading cross-functional integration initiatives across diverse industries.

As Stratus' Chief Transformation Officer, she'll lead our future Transformation Office: the enterprise hub that connects strategy, M&A integration, process, and technology into one scalable operating model. She'll own M&A integration end-to-end, standardize how we operate to reduce fragmentation across markets, and keep our highest-priority enterprise initiatives visible, sequenced, and moving. Working alongside IT on systems and data while driving adoption of new ways of working, she becomes the bridge between our strategy and our execution.
