Prime Engineering, Inc.
Founded 1990 · Atlanta, Georgia
Prime Engineering was a driving force behind the creation of Stratus. Built on a start-to-finish project philosophy, Prime excelled across the Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) lifecycle. Their strengths in civil engineering, architecture, and surveying—combined with a turnkey delivery mindset—laid the foundation for Stratus’s integrated service model. Prime’s legacy of project excellence lives on in the operational DNA of Stratus.
Austin Brockenbrough & Associates, LLC
Founded 1955 · Richmond, Virginia
Through six decades of service, Brockenbrough earned a reputation for precision and trust. Their work in architecture, engineering, and surveying for federal, state, and municipal clients was guided by integrity and long-term thinking. As one of the earliest firms to join Stratus, Brockenbrough helped establish our culture of collaboration and commitment to public service.
Ascent Engineering Group, Inc.
Founded 1959 · Roanoke, Virginia
Ascent Engineering brought a deep focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and IT systems design. Their expertise proved invaluable in technically complex environments for K-12, Higher Education, and State and Local Government clients. Ascent’s dedication to coordination, detail, and client responsiveness continues to elevate our work in MEP systems and integrated building design.
Zyscovich, LLC
Founded 1977 · Miami, Florida
Zyscovich Studio represents the continuation of the legacy Zyscovich brand, widely respected for its vision-driven, context-sensitive approach to planning and architecture. As a newly formed partner of Stratus, the Studio maintains its creative independence while aligning with the broader Stratus network. The practice is led exclusively by Bernard Zyscovich and Suria Yaffar, who together carry forward the firm’s design philosophy and long-standing client relationships. Focused on transformative urban projects across multiple sectors, the Studio builds on decades of innovative design leadership.
Morris & Associates, Engineers, LLC
Founded 1960 · Texas
For over 60 years, Morris & Associates has served Texas with civil engineering, land planning, and architectural services—especially in the specialized field of fueling systems. Their hands-on, integrated approach to project delivery enhanced Stratus’s multidisciplinary strategy and extended our reach into the Southwest’s vital infrastructure sector.
C.T. Hsu + Associates
Founded 1984 · Orlando, Florida
C.T. Hsu + Associates earned national recognition for design excellence in educational and municipal architecture, with a portfolio that reflects a deep commitment to community engagement, technical rigor, and cultural relevance. The team is renowned for large-scale public projects such as the expansion of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) – one of the largest convention facilities in the U.S. – and several sporting facilities. Their ability to deliver complex municipal projects with architectural distinction and public value continues to enrich Stratus’s architectural practice and deepen our impact in the communities we serve.
