Project Architect

The Project Architect works with the Project Manager or Director in the development of design concepts, which are incorporated into a final product in conjunction with the work of other architects, engineers, and technicians.

Responsible for planning and conducting work requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, adaptation, modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Role responsibilities function in the role of a project leader and may handle some project management tasks, but Project Architects work primarily on technical aspects.

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Architecture

EXPERIENCE: 5 years related experience

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of FL Building Codes and construction drawing standards
Proficiency in BIM/Revit software is essential, along with experience in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in adaptive reuse, building renovation, and expansion required.
Previous involvement in education projects is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam.
Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and highly organized.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
