At the heart of the center is a large, centralized operations room featuring a prominent focal wall outfitted with a full array of digital displays. This command hub facilitates real-time monitoring, communication, and decision-making for the City of Pompano Beach’s emergency response teams. Surrounding this space are flexible breakout rooms designed to support collaboration, strategic planning, and rapid response coordination.
The facility also includes administrative offices for fire department leadership, the fire marshal, and plan reviewers, ensuring that critical administrative and regulatory functions are co-located with emergency operations. Supporting spaces such as parking, loading docks, logistics and supplies storage are thoughtfully integrated to optimize operational workflow and readiness.
