The San Mateo County Transit District and Cross Bay Transit Partners LLC (CBTP), a new company created by Facebook and Plenary Group, are engaged in a public-private partnership (P3) to establish new rail service with connections to existing commuter and intercity rail services; enhance and expand bus and shared-ride commute options; and further explore complementary bicycle and pedestrian connections along the Dumbarton corridor in the South San Francisco Bay Area.
