The Hanscom Air Force Base remodel project was a major remodel for the government base’s retail building in which our client was the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). This major remodel started in 2018 and consisted of remodels broken into multiple phases to include a 6,800 square foot interior remodel of the existing food court, a 4,000 square foot interior remodel of the existing mall and tenants, a 46,000 square foot interior remodel of the existing Exchange retail sales store, in addition to a 5,800 square foot expansion of their Express Retail sales center along with a brand new fuel system and canopy.
Scheduled to be completed in December 2021, Stratus worked closely with engineers, consultants, and government associates in order to comply with government requirements and standards.
